Our Story
Since our founding in 1969, Eltec Instruments has been a leader in infrared sensing technology, starting with the first commercial Lithium Tantalate (LiTaO3) pyroelectric detector.
This legacy of innovation led to the expansion into our Daytona Beach facility in 1977, which remains our center for manufacturing and design.
Today, building on over 50 years of expertise, We continue to invest in developing high-performance, instrumentation-grade solutions for the world's most critical IR sensing applications, including custom detectors and advanced Thermal Telescopes.
